Do I have to be a graduate of GSE’s Summer Startup program for high schoolers to be eligible for Collegiate Pitch?
No, we welcome applications from all college students in Kentucky. We do give incentives for GSE Summer Startup grads to apply to Collegiate Pitch, but it doesn’t hurt your chances if you did not attend our high school program.
What if I live outside of Kentucky? Can I still apply?
Yes, it’s okay if you live in a different state, as long as you attend a Kentucky college or university and base your business in Kentucky.
Where does the competition take place? Can my friends and family attend?
Currently the Collegiate Pitch live event takes place in Louisville, Kentucky. We love it when friends and family are there to root on the contestants and see the incredible pitches.
Do I get a check that day if I win?
No, but we move quickly with the funding process after the competition. Once we approve your proposed budget, we reimburse you for your costs as you submit receipts to us.
